In April 2012 the Jumeirah Group, a world-wide chain of luxury hotels and member of the Dubai Holding, opened its first European branch.
Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa, is a luxury five-star resort,  strategically situated in the northwest of the isle of Mallorca. Puerto de Sóller is a small fisher fishermen’s village with a bay that is known as one of the most charismatic locations on the island: the Orange Valley in the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The landscape design also contained a vertical green wall that had to be planted with local varieties, for which the Garsy® Greenwall system appeared to be the perfect match.
The installation of the 54m² tall green wall was finished in less than 2 days, which helped the client to meet the tight deadline.

The hotel strives to acquire a LEED Gold certification of the US Green Building Council for its sustainable character.
